It is with immense pride and gratitude that I present to you the Annual Report for 2024–25 of Nari Sewa Samiti. This year has been a remarkable journey marked by growth, resilience, and impactful initiatives aimed at empowering women, nurturing children, and strengthening families.
Our mission to uplift women and children continues to guide every effort — from education and vocational training to family welfare and cultural enrichment. The dedication of our institutions, the collaboration of our partners, and the trust of our community have helped us achieve significant milestones and create lasting change.
Key Achievements of the Year
Education
- Nari Shiksha Niketan Post Graduate College (PG): Enrolment of 677 students (B.A. – 435, B.Sc. – 146, B.Com. – 21, M.A. – 75). Academic excellence continued with a 100% pass rate in M.A. and outstanding UG results. Faculty received national recognition for awards, research, and patents. The college hosted workshops, career counselling, and cultural programs, with NCC & NSS units driving social awareness and student engagement.
- Nari Shiksha Niketan Inter College: With 450 students and 35 teachers, the school achieved 91.3% pass in High School and 89.7% in Intermediate. Founder’s Week, science exhibitions, cultural fests, and Mission Shakti awareness campaigns enriched the year’s learning experience.
- Mona Convent School: Home to 421 students and 18 teachers, the school continues to deliver holistic education. With upgraded STEM and science labs funded by Bajaj Auto Ltd., enhanced infrastructure, and vibrant cultural and sports programs, the school nurtures creativity, learning, and leadership.
- Mona Chandravati Bal Shiksha Niketan: Educating 195 underprivileged students, the school provided academic instruction, co-curricular activities, yoga, and health awareness drives, achieving a 100% pass rate.
Skill Development
- Nari Kala Mandir Training Centre: Continued its one-year and two-year tailoring and craft courses with 51 students and a 100% pass rate, empowering women through skill-based education.
- Project Unnati (CSR by Bajaj Auto Ltd.): Entered its third phase (2024–2026) to train over 1000 women annually. In 2024–25, 1,097 women were trained in Computer Training, Beauty Culture, Fashion Designing, and Embroidery. Over 144 participants were placed in jobs, and 953 women became self-employed. Additional programs included Spoken English, soft skills, financial literacy, and personality development.
Women’s Welfare
- Family Counselling Centre (FCC): The FCCs provided counselling, legal assistance, and psychological support for women in distress. In 2024–25, 164 cases were registered, 141 closed, and 65 resolved through mutual settlement. The centres conducted 2,140 telephonic counselling sessions and provided 150 police protections, organizing multiple awareness meetings and follow-ups to strengthen family welfare.
Culture & Community
- Natya Kala Kendra: The iconic auditorium of Nari Sewa Samiti, established in 1964–65, continues to serve as a cultural hub for Lucknow, hosting conferences, seminars, performances, and educational events with a seating capacity of 1,000.

- Bajaj Auto Ltd. – ₹1.05 crore towards Project Unnati and Mona Convent School.

- Included within this total is ₹4,63,901/- received as donations in lieu of wedding gifts on the occasion of the marriage of Mr. Parth Krishna, son of Mr. Vikram Krishna and Mrs. Piya Krishna (Founder’s Representative).
A Note of Gratitude

Treasurer), and all members of the Executive Committee for their continued guidance and trust.
