Guided by the vision of our founder, Padma Shri Smt. Mona Chandravati Gupta, Mona Chandravati Bal Shiksha Niketan continues its mission to provide quality education and holistic development opportunities to children, especially from underprivileged sections of society. With a dedicated team of teachers and staff, the school strives to shape young learners into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals.
Academic and Co-Curricular Highlights
The academic session 2024–25 began on April 3, 2024, with 195 students and a committed teaching staff. The school maintained its tradition of excellence with a 100% annual examination result.
Throughout the year, a variety of co-curricular activities enriched the learning experience:
- Value-based Learning: The Gita Pariwar Camp focused on moral development, while sessions on language, health, and hygiene built awareness on social and scientific topics.
- Environmental Awareness: Students actively participated in plantation drives on Earth Day and took oaths to protect trees and nature.
- Cultural Celebrations: Festivals such as Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Teachers’ Day, and Diwali were celebrated with enthusiasm, promoting unity and joy among students.
- Sports and Health: The Pre-Primary section held its annual sports events, while health initiatives included dental check-ups, deworming drives, and hygiene awareness programs under government and Red Cross initiatives.
Special Events and Visitors
The school celebrated Founder’s Day (Nov 13–16, 2024) with creative competitions and cultural performances. On Children’s Day, students presented entertaining programs and received treats from the staff.
Former students, including Prof. Kuldeep Kumar from Brand University, Australia, and IPS Officer Bhanu Pratap Singh, revisited their alma mater and shared inspirational experiences with current students.
Social Responsibility and Community Support
Generous contributions from well-wishers strengthened the school’s mission. Shri Mata Prasad donated funds to support education for economically weaker students, while Smile for All sponsored tuition fees for three children—reflecting a shared commitment to inclusive education.
Tribute and Transitions
Students paid heartfelt homage to the school’s founder on December 30, remembering her lifelong dedication to women’s and children’s education. The school community also bid farewell to long-serving teachers Mrs. Leela Sinha and Mrs. Sudha Tandon for their valuable service.
