As part of its commitment to women’s welfare, Nari Sewa Samiti runs dedicated Family Counselling Centres (FCCs) that provide vital support to women facing challenges in their personal and family lives. These centres specialize in resolving family disputes and offer comprehensive assistance including counselling, legal aid, police protection, and psychological support.
The centres address issues such as domestic exploitation, marital adjustment, abuse, domestic violence, dowry conflicts, widows’ concerns, and property disputes. When needed, they also provide referral services for short stay homes, free legal assistance, and psychiatric treatment, ensuring holistic care and rehabilitation.
Confidentiality remains the cornerstone of all services. Each case is handled with sensitivity and resolved at no cost to the client. Operating through a three-fold approach — preventive, curative, and referral — the centres continue to strengthen family life while safeguarding women’s rights and dignity.

Awareness and Community Outreach
To spread awareness and promote social harmony, the centres organized seven mohalla goshthis under the Prachar Prasar Jagrukta Programme at locations including Qaiserbagh, Intauja, Pandit Nagar, and Eveready Chauraha. These community meetings encouraged open dialogue and awareness on women’s rights and social issues.
In addition, 15 special programs such as Independence Day, Swachhata Pakhwada, Sports Day, Annual Function, Saraswati Puja, and Skill Development Workshops were celebrated at the centre to foster participation, positivity, and empowerment among women and staff.
Regular subcommittee meetings were held at the Nari Sewa Samiti premises, ensuring smooth coordination and effective functioning. The District Probation Officer, Lucknow, Mr. Vikas Singh, conducted inspections and commended the centre for its dedicated service and positive impact.
