At Nari Kala Mandir Training Centre, tradition, skill, and choice converge to shape a future of craftsmanship and creativity. Established in 1952 at Chhedi Lal Dharmshala Aminabad, Lucknow, and later relocated to its permanent home in Kaisarbagh, Nari Kala Mandir Training Centre is a government-aided polytechnic with a profound commitment to skill development. Our specialized one-year and two-year Tailoring and Allied Craft courses, supported by funding from the Directorate of Social Welfare, U.P., have been consistently running for several years.
Upon successful completion of these courses, students are honoured with certificates and diplomas, validating their proficiency in the chosen crafts. The curriculum includes Tailoring Cutting as a compulsory subject, and students can opt for Hand Embroidery as an optional course.
In the realm of optional subjects, students enjoy the flexibility of choosing two from a diverse list, which includes Machine Embroidery, Leather Work, Soft Toys, Salma Badla, and Hand Knitting. This comprehensive approach ensures that learners not only acquire essential skills but also have the opportunity to specialize in areas aligned with their interests.
