Embarking on a transformative journey, Nari Sewa Samiti, in collaboration with Bajaj Auto Ltd., has been driving an impactful employment-linked skill development program since 2015, known as Project Unnati.
This initiative is a dedicated effort to empower and equip women with the skills essential for achieving sustainable livelihoods. Unnati's second phase, spanning from April 2019 to March 2023, persevered through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Remarkably, 1300 students were provided training in demand-driven trades such as Computer Knowledge and Training, Grooming and Beauty Culture, Fashion Designing, and Hand Embroidery.
The program has witnessed significant success, with over 500 students securing employment and an additional 300 individuals successfully establishing their own ventures for self-sustainability. Notably, our Computer Training Course has recently received affiliation with NASSCOM through Skill India, a Government Initiative, certifying the course on the Skill India Portal.
Project Unnati continues to make a lasting impact, with over 600 women and girls benefiting from training every year. Join us in fostering empowerment, skill enhancement, and sustainable livelihoods through Project Unnati at Nari Kala Mandir, where every individual's journey towards self-reliance begins.
The Unnati Project's third phase commenced on October 10th, generously supported by Bajaj Auto. This phase is scheduled to extend until September 30th, 2026, aiming to provide training for over 1000 women/girls annually.
